The Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program hosts a one-day conference in honor of the hardworking professionals and stewards that care for our community trees. Workshops are offered to enhance technical skills, discuss relevant topics in urban forestry, and network with professionals.
The conference also celebrates Vermont's Arbor Day with a proclamation and recognition of Vermont Tree Stewards Awards and Tree City, Tree Line, and Tree Campus designations. This event was formally known as the Arbor Day Conference.
Registration
- Registration cost ($50 person) includes lunch.
- Lunch will be deli sandwiches, with a vegetarian option. Salad, chips, and drink included.
- Deadline for registration is May 9, 2024.
- A limited number of scholarships are available. Contact Gwen to apply.
- Please stay home if you are sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19. We will refund your ticket purchase if you are unable to come because of COVID-19.
Continuing Education Credits
- Society of American Foresters: 3.5 CFEs (must attend all day, any workshop)
- International Society of Arboriculture: 3.75 CEUs (must attend all day, any workshop)
- VT Pesticide Recertification Training Credit: 1 (only available for VT Forest Health Update)
