Lend Your Voice in Support of Vermont’s Urban & Community Forests

Are you on a tree board, town forest committee, or conservation commission? Are you involved in local efforts to plant, plan and care for the trees in your community?

If so, the Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Advisory Council wants to hear you voice.  The Council is currently seeking an individual to fill a "volunteer representative" seat to join the 20 members that guide and support the Urban & Community Forestry Program and its staff.

To be considered for membership, please fill out this brief application form by August 3rd, 2026.

Current membership can be found on our program website here. Members appointed to the Council represent a broad array of expertise, leadership, and points of view. The full Council meets in person twice annually for a full day, at varied locations across the state. There are no term limits, but members are reappointed biannually.
