Join us for a 2-hour guided tour of the Intervale Conservation Nursery, a cornerstone of ecological restoration in Vermont. Located in Burlington’s Intervale, this nursery is dedicated to growing native trees and plants that support healthy ecosystems and improve water quality throughout the state.
The first half of our tour will guide you through the nursery’s operations, where you’ll learn about sustainable plant propagation methods and the role of native species in ecological restoration. In the second half, you’ll roll up your sleeves and join in a hands-on activity, such as transplanting young plants.
We’ll conclude the tour with an informal question-and-answer session, providing an opportunity to discuss what you’ve learned, share insights, and connect with others who are passionate about conservation.
This tour is aimed at serving conservation and restoration professionals. Registration is required.
