Join VT Urban & Community Forestry's Joanne Garton and Adam McCullough on the Newbury Town Common for a hands-on workshop on tree pruning. Open to all ages and abilities, we'll learn together about tree care, maintenance, and proper structural pruning cuts on the crabapples on the Town Common. 

This event is hosted in partnership with the Newbury 250th Committee in preparation for tree planting and care in Newbury, Wells River, and West Newbury this spring. There is no charge to attend. 

Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring work gloves if available. Hand tools will be provided.

The workshop begins at 3pm and will run until approximately 5pm. Come at any time to learn, prune, and ask questions about tree planting and care.
