Join host Lynn Wolfe, Meach Cove Farms land manager, and Women & Our Woods Vermont steering committee members Joanne Garton (Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program), Rachel Swanwick (Forests Guild), and Lisa Sausville (Vermont Coverts). The group will walk and talk about activities onsite, including:
- Invasive species management
- Roadside ash tree management
- A single tree and small group selection timber harvest
- The Use Value Appraisal Program - from the perspective of a land manager/program participant
- Forest stewardship and agriculture interface - balancing needs of multiple stakeholders, a recent timber harvest, accompanying invasive plant removal, and tree care efforts, including ash tree management, along the farm's roads.
