Join the VT Urban and Community Forestry Program for a free workshop on risk tree identification and assessment. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, September 17th from 1:30 - 4:00pm and will be led by Urban Forester Adam McCullough and Technical Assistance Coordinator Joanne Garton.

Workshop Overview: Learn basic skills and concepts related to tree risk management.  Participants will learn to identify defects in risk trees, assess the risk they pose to public safety and infrastructure, and consider options to mitigate hazards to ensure safety in urban forests.

Intended Audience: Municipal staff and appointed tree wardens.
