Hosted by Vernon Conservation Commission
Want to help protect the Miller Town Forest or your own trees and woodlands? Join UVM Extension Forest Pest Education Coordinator, Ginger Nickerson, to learn about four invasive insects that can have a significant impact on Vermont’s forests and landscape. This one-hour webinar will provide an overview of two pests already in Vermont: emerald ash borer and hemlock woolly adelgid; and two we hope to keep out: Asian longhorned beetle and spotted lanternfly. You will learn about the potential impact of each pest, the signs and symptoms to look for, how to report suspect pests, and how to slow their spread.
