We are pleased to announce our 2025 grants program to support local tree planting and enhancement of healthy urban tree canopy in priority areas statewide.  

Our 2025 grants program includes two categories:

• Tree Maintenance & Removal Grants, administered by the VT Urban & Community Forestry Program 
• Community Tree Planting Grants, administered by the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission in collaboration with the VT Urban & Community Forestry Program

Both grant categories are now open and accepting applications. The two grant categories have the same application deadline of January 10th, 2025 and neither have a cost-share requirement. However, the categories have different award amounts, eligible activities, geographic eligibility criteria, and are administered and supported by different entities.
