VT UCF assists Vermont communities with becoming self-sufficient in their efforts to steward their urban and community forests. The program recognizes the need for seed funding to jump-start projects and support larger initiatives. Our annual grants program and this section's links to other granting organizations are intended to provide communities with the opportunities to apply for funding to support their urban and community forestry efforts. 

Financial Assistance

Our grants program supports local efforts to steward and manage trees. Applications are due in April each year. Other statewide and national funding opportunities might be a fit for your community as well!
