To help us spread the word about Arbor Day, we are inviting students to actively participate in the celebration by creating tree art. To grow works of art, students will explore and research a town forest.
At the 48th Annual Conference, the New England Chapter, International Society of Arboriculture (NEC-ISA) awarded the Gold Leaf Award to the Vermont Urban and Community Forestry Program for Outstanding Landscape Beautification Activities.
This spring UVM joined Middlebury as a Tree Camus USA designee. The Tree Campus USA Program is a sister program of Tree City USA and Tree Line USA and is administered by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
