National Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Awareness Week runs from May 18th – May 25th 2019.
We've pulled together a comprehensive toolkit of resources and materials for you, or your community, to participate in the campaign. The EAB Awareness Week Toolkit is available on VTInvasives.org and includes resources related to:
- Identifying ash trees
- Hosting a tree tagging event
- Hosting an EAB informational event
- Educational resources
- Guidelines for sharing information about the week on social media
Now that EAB is in Vermont, we hope you will participate to help slow the spread of EAB. While the loss of our ash trees is inevitable, identifying and infestations early and slowing the spread will give communities time to plan to mitigate the economic and ecological impacts of the pest.
